Hi folks, I am not very technical but have been a happy OpenOffice use for a number of years. I thought I should look to see if there is a later version that I should be using and there is. But before I upgrade I would like to know if my settings can be preserved and my data saved and continue to be used, mainly documents and spreadsheets? I looked at the OpenOffice web site and tried the self help, I could only find an entry that said settings can be saved when upgrading from 1.0 to 1.1 and nothing about data.
I run Microsoft XP Professional Edition with SP 2 and OpenOffice 1.0. If anyone can help I would be really grateful. Thank you Peter
