You will need to buy a copy of osx from Apple, if there is a "real"
apple dealer in your area, you might want to ask them for help --
you will not need to buy anything from Open Office.

think that OSX would be a better choice than OS 9 (as you can
still run pretty much everything in classic mode and migrate
slowly) but it would offer these users a choice they don't have
now and even give the folks still running on 68000 chips a solution.
