And long, long gone time it was addressed. I'd vote for it - but in spite of the fact I've logged in to issuzilla (I've even managed to remember my id & password after >two years :-) :-) ) it tells me "guest" doesn't have voting rights. Oh well; somehow I doubt it would have made a difference given the 69 votes already cast. Incidentally, another person was good enough to remind me about scribus. If it's any consolation to the developers, I've taken a look now, and scribus's handling of eps appears worse than OOo's. Maybe the output of ps2epsi is suspect; but I wasn't expecting components to appear in a negative rendering :-) It's occurred to me to wonder why there are even distinct "writer" and "draw" programs anyway in OOo. I can't see any earthly reason why the two functions should be distinguished - it leads to anomalies just like those I'm complaining of. Maybe it's just the M$ way of doing things that's spilled over?? -- various incoming sites blocked because of spam; see http://www.scottsonline.org.uk for a list and openpgp crypto key (key fingerprint 2ACC 9F21 5103 F68C 7C32 9EA8 C949 81E1 31C9 1364) [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mike Scott, Harlow, Essex, England --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
