OK, go through the same rigmarole, except select 'no sound' and /do/ apply to all slides. Then start over to pick the sound you want (and /don't/ apply to all slides this time :-) ) This UI is quite irrational IMO: a sound playing for the duration of a slide show has /nothing/ logically to do with any transition, much less the first. > > Still baffled, but appreciate the help from you each.
