Hi, I am using OpenOffice.org 2.3.0 on a Dual Intel Mac Mini with OS-X
10.4.
I am working on a Ph.D. theses, and am quite dependant on a proper
operation of OpenOffice.
Yesterday it started to act odd, when I wanted to print a portion of
the theses, my color laser printer spat out a lot of pages with only
the page number on them.
I checked my files, and tried to print again and the OpenOffice just
"died", it closed down and disappeared from the desktop, and the
printer that had started to warm up, just went back to standby.
The printer is a new Samsung CLP-300, and I have had it for a week.
I have erased all non-OpenOffice systems installed the last week, not
only by dragging their icons to the waste-basket (trash-can), but also
by using finder and dragging them to the trash and then emptying the
trash can.
I also did that with OpenOffice.org!
So this morning I re-downloaded OpenOffice.org 2.3.0 from your
web-site and re-installed it.
I even re-started the computer.
Opened the theses in OpenOffice.org and used the print command, and
OpenOffice.org "died again" and disappeared from the desk-top. No print.
Please help me with this one, I need a solution fast
All other systems are working fine

A workaround to printing problems with OO.o on Macs is to save your
document as a .pdf file and then print that file from Preview or Adobe
Reader.
