I hate to contradict someone, but Bookman and Poor Richard **DO NOT** always come with the default installation. I don't have either one (nor Papyrus, either). I originally had OO 2.04 Red Hat Fedora Core 6 edition (installed of course on FC6), then I upgraded to OO 2.3 "standard" edition. I have lots of "IP unencumbered" fonts that came with FC6, and some real weird stuff I downloaded from here and there, but none of the three that are being requested.

I don't think OO actually installs **ANY** fonts. What you see are the defaults that come with your operating system - Windows will have one set, and Linux will have a different set. Actually different sets for different Linux distros, depending on how purist the distro is being about patents, copyrights, and other IP on the various fonts.

If you want some more fonts, it's up to you to find them, download them, and install them.

Hello all!

Good morning. I am writing, and I just installed Open office mere minutes
ago. I prefer Bookman, and I like Poor Richard and Papyrus. Do I need to
find those elsewhere, or does OpOff have them? Where would I find them if
you do?

Bookman Old style and Poor Richard come with the default installation.
Papyrus doesn't seem to.If you had trouble finding out what fonts you have
and how to change them, have a look at documentation.openoffice.org for some
further reading on using OpenOffice.
