Not sure what cd you're talking about.
If the files have an oxt extension, they are... extensions
You can install extensions with Tools > Extension Manager > My Extensions > Add
Some extensions are provided as a zip file. In this case you don't
unzip, but present the file directly at the Extensions Manager.
