here are two links to a mirror for the proper files you might need if you
have the following
Windows (Win 98se to Vista)
Intel (Intel based computer-most of them out there
Intel's CPUs and AMD's CPUs -- I have both types )
wJRE (java run time engine -- I always us the wJRE but you
can download the other one)
en-US (english-USA language version)
.exe (execute only file)
You choose your language, but the other stuff should stay the same.
DO NOT download a file that starts "OOo-SDK" or " OOo-URE"

The name of the file you downloaded should end in ".exe" and you must
*run* it by double clicking on it. If the name doesn't end in ".exe" then
you downloaded the wrong thing. What *exactly* did you download? And
*exactly* where from?
