Excellent observations... Is there a usability group?

Drat, i have to run...

See this list here for ideas

This is a perfect example of what I mean. I spent an hour at the
http://projects.openoffice.org/index.html site yesterday afternoon and
another half hour this morning.

Send a copy of my original post to the User Interface list (I think).
Can't remember from yesterday to today which of the many I actually
choose. Far too many list choices, too crammed together.
Can't find my post on any of the lists. Not sure if I actually signed
up to receive mail from whichever list. My username and password was
accepted on some lists but rejected on the Wiki. etc. etc.

I am not asking for help, I'll get it sorted out. But, boy, if I wasn't
persistent or if I was relatively new, I would feel like I was drowning
in a morass of too many choices, cross links and abstract definitions.

KISS

It is definitely being worked on. There is a lively discussion about it all on the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list... changes to the Wiki, the website, etc.... It's worth a read if you are interested. Look at September up to now. http://website.openoffice.org/servlets/SummarizeList?listName=dev
