There are two ways to do this, depending on exactly what you need.

o Select the cell or cells and go to Format | Cells... (or right-click | Format Cells...) and then the Alignment tab.
o  Under Properties, put a tick by "Wrap text automatically".

o Double-click the cell and then single-click in the cell at the point in the text where you want the line break.
o  Press Ctrl+Enter to create the required line break.
(Note that this second method works only when you edit the text *in the cell*, not in the Input line.
