It downloads a file to your disk, which you then double click on to install. The location where it is downloaded to depends on your browser, though you can usually specify where. Watch where the download is saved, so that you can find it. After you double click on that file, you'll be taken through the install process and there will be an OpenOffice folder and icons in your Start menu.
