No. There are tons of programs that support the ISO 26300:2006 (a.k.a ODF which is rather an International format than OpenOffice.org's own format, but still the format that OpenOffice.org use by default) more or less. I can see that other people already answered this and I just want to point out that there is not point telling your friend to save it in another format (well, maybe PDF), especially not a closed format like DOC. There are SO many other (better in my opinion) ways to view the file. I heard that if I do download your program that I will get a TON of pop-ups, > is that true?
