Could you place WordPerfect on the Vista machine
and save the files into a different file format that
would save the graphics? Or do you need to save the
graphics into a different format as well?

I have Corel Office 9? 11? It has been too long since I used it.
I started out using WordPerfect, until I had to have MS Word,
now I do 99% of my stuff in OpenOffice.org for the past 2-3 years,
since version 0.x or 1.x and the .odt format was not around yet.

I do know what you are going through with the text conversion.
I still have a few WordPerfect documents on floppies and CD's in
my archives.
