In the funny little world I live in, "C++" is a single indivisible word. Writer seems to think it's three independent characters, given that on the same page it managed to put line breaks between "c+" and "+" and between "C" and "++". No hyphens were introduced, so this does not seem to be a word-break issue.

How can I tell Writer that "C++" (or "c++") is a single word that should never be broken in any way?

Thanks,

Scott

Hmmm. Which version of OO are you using and on which OS? I'm on Win XP Pro with OO 2.2 and, in the dreaded words of the software support guy "I cannot reproduce your problem". My OO Writer simply moves the three-character word C++ or (c++) as a single unit when there isn't space on the line for all 3 characters. This is true regardless of whether automatic hyphenation is in force for the paragraph style being used.

To Manfred Krause: I saw your replies. Are you saying your version of Writer splits C++ like the Scott's? If so, which version are you using and on which OS? Do we have a version/OS specific issue here?
