I think what you want can be done with a spreadsheet as this offers date calculations. eg in a blank spreadsheet put into cell a1 =today() and into cell a2 put =a1+7 search in the help file for 'functions' for more information. By the way, you may wish to consider subscribing to this mailing list if you wish to be sure of seeing any future replies. And to the rest of the list, why on earth does writer not offer the same set of functions as calc?
