FOR MY DAUAGTHER SINCE SHE NEEDS TO DO REPORTS FOR SCHOOL.

THUS I WILL BUY THE SOFTWARE.

Since you installed OpenOffice, you won't find PowerPoint or Word, both of 
which are proprietary applications from Microsoft, which you have to pay for. 
What you will find are Impress and Writer, along with other applications, which 
are comparable to those included with Microsoft Office. They can also be used 
to create Microsoft Office compatible files.?
