This shouldn't be necessary if you are going to use the Save As function. Then resave in Word 2003 .doc format under a different name. This probably requires the Save As function, which makes the step above unnecessary. The benefits of using this method are: > o You get to check it still looks as you intended before submitting > (Minor variations between OO.o rendering in .doc format and Word > rendering in .doc format have lost people points in exams etc.). > o You give your tutor what they require. > o You get to use your Word Processor of choice at home and the school > gets to continue with it's (mal)practise of vendor lockin[1][2]. > o It cost's you nothing but a little extra time. > > [1] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vendor_lock-in > [2] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vendor_lock-in#Microsoft > > > -- > Michael > > All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall > be well > > - Julian of Norwich 1342 - 1416 > > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >
