I'm now using OOo_2.4.0RC_4MacIntel per your prior suggestion,
running under OS 10.5.2. Most everything works except: When trying
to Print, in the dialog box next to Printer is Properties, which is
greyed out. Since I need to change to Landscape occasionally, this
is not good. Is there a version coming out that has this fixed? It
was previously working in 2.3.0 under X11, which of course has other
problems. I suspect a piece of code got left out/broken in this
upgrade.
thanks, Hal Estry
To change to landscape go to "Format>Page" on the menu bar. The native
Mac printing dialogue (Printer Properties) hasn't been working in the
Aqua port. The latest milestone build - DEV300_m2 - now has the native
Mac printing dialogue. Check it our at
<http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/aqua-Intel.html>.
I just obtained DEV300_m2 aka 3.0.0. Printer Properties is still greyed
out. It is , however, moved to the Printer Settings menu. I haven't
reported it as a bug, as I don't know whether this is classed as an item
under device dependence, which, it is said, is still being worked on.
BTW Format>Page is only useful in certain instances, not, for instance,
in printing brochures.
thanks
