[users] Uninstalling Open Office 2.3

I recently did a system recovery on my computer that saved most of my files but 
not the unoriginal software. However Open Office 2.3 somehow remained on my 
computer. Unfortunately it is not listed with my installed programs in the 
Control Panel. When I attempted to upgrade to OO 2.4 , the latter installed (OO 
2.4) yet OO 2.3 remained. Any suggestions on how to uninstall OO 2.3. (For now 
I have uninstalled OO 2.4 .)
