The Sort options (under Tools and under Table) are only available if
there is something appropriate selected. Outside tables, select the
paragraphs you want to sort, then Tools > Sort. To sort the rows of a
table, select the whole table, or a group of rows (make sure you select
all columns, if you want the whole row to be sorted together), then
Table > Sort, then choose which column or columns to sort by. If you
have any trouble with that, please let us know.
