I'm using OpenOffice 2.4. In sWriter how can I search for end of 
paragraph markers (or tabs, or other special characters) and replace 
them? I have a wealth of books for research in Folio format. When I 
import text from them into sWriter, I need to massage the text: take out 
the extra spaces, including search for end of paragraph followed by a 
space, and replace the end of paragraph only (deleting the space). I 
also want to replace all double hyphens with an em-dash, all hyphens 
between numbers should be replaced with the en-dash, all straight single 
and double quote marks with the corresponding curly quote marks, etc.
When I learn how to do that, I want to create a Macro that will 
recursively replace all double spaces with one space, until there are no 
more double spaces, and do all the other replacements listed above.
