Each time I choose a tool - e.g. the line-tool - and use it, OO
automatically deactivates the selected tool and activates the arrow
button. So I have to switch between the arrow button and the line
button each time I want to draw a line. But I often draw graphics
with a high number of lines (e.g. electric circuits), and so it is
very bugging to switch between the tools each time (there is the
same problem with other tools of course!).
Is there a possibility to hinder OO from selecting the arrow tool
after the usage of another tool? Otherwise I would like to encourage
the programmers to change this in one of the following versions of OO.
If you double-click the Line button, your selection will stick and
you will be able to draw multiple lines - as you ask. When you have
completed your set of lines and wish Draw to relax back to the Select
(arrow) button, just press Esc.
I trust this helps.
