when i try to open a file that i have on my computer and try to open using openoffice it opens with a black document...I can open them into Microsoft word but not open office.. what can i do to fix this? Thanks Andrew McConnell
Do you actually mean "black", or should this read "blank"?Can you tell us which format the document is in? In other words, what are the letters at the end of the document file name (eg. ".doc", ".rtf", ".docx")? In Windows these letters are not always immediately visible, so you may have to right mouse click on the file name a select "Properties" to get this information.
If you post this information back to this list users@openoffice.org we may be able to suggest a solution.
