I am using openoffice.org 2.3 and my problem is:
Having transfered my documents from windows operating
system to linux the spaces between words become dashes
and connect all words together and thus the document is useless.

I regularly move OOo (OpenOffice.org) documents between Windows and Linux and I have never seen, or heard of this problem before. If you have a non-confidential example of a document which exhibits this problem, please feel free to email it to me directly at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and I will see if I can suggest a solution.

Mammadaly responded to my offer, by sending me a png screen capture [1] and a pdf [2] which I have just located in my spam filter folder. What he omitted to mention in the original post is that the document is in a right-to-left language (Arabic?). I cannot be sure, but maybe the issue has something to with the font or language setting used to display the document on the Linux system. Maybe someone here familiar with this language could offer suggestions for a possible solution.
