On Windows XP you can simply copy data to a CD - see the Windows Help under "write CD" for details. I presume the same applies to Vista. It probably also applies to Macs. On other systems you may need additional software like, for example, "Nero Burning ROM" (<www.nero.com>), to "burn" the data onto a CD. If you have a CD writer on your computer then you may well have relevant software. There are free alternatives to Nero. See for example <http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/the-best-free-alternatives-to-nero-cddvd-burner/> although I've never tried any of the software mentioned there.
