If at all possible, it is advised to strangle from behind. This way you can strangle with 8 fingers instead of 2, and you are less vulnerable to your victim's attempts to free himself. You can also trap their legs with your own, something that is near impossible when your victim is facing you. Note that they all figure out near the end that they can headbutt you, so do not keep your head directly behind theirs. As satisfying as strangling may be, you might want to consider using a clean cloth to block your victim's external airways instead. This method leaves no bruseing on the body, so you can dump the body in the ocean and it really looks as if they had drowned. Be careful not to bruise them or rip their clothes while they are struggling, however, as that makes the police suspicious. Don't let them scratch you, either, as you DNA is recoverable. Of course, you can bang the body as much as you want after it is dead, as dead people don't bruise!
