I downloaded the Suse 10.x version of Open Office version 2.4.0 and later 2.4.1 both fail to render my collection of true type fonts correctly. 2.3.x worked fine. Somewhere in the libraries is a flaw.
Only the preincluded fonts which came with the system work in OOo 2.4.x. The fonts display correctly in the font viewers and in other programs.
