running a system, I was able to place MS Office on my D: partition, in
the same manner as I was able to place the anti-virus and anti-spyware
programs on the D: partition -- through the installation process. In
all those installations I was given a choice of where I wished the
product to reside.
I was never given such a choice with Open Office nand with Star
Office. I must presume that the same installer program is used for
both. I do not want Open Office nor Star Office on my C: partition.
Any suggestions, short of removing and abandoning Open Office?
You have to do a custom install to specify where you want it installed.
