Yes, it is included in the trunk/core/plug-in/echo/ directory.

Like other apps that I tried, the connection is accepted but I hear
no response from the app.

It appears as though I am not receiving any replies from SEMS to SER,
somehow.  That's why I am figuring out how to couple SEMS' reply_socket
to OpenSER.
