Hi,

i`ve made a picture, maybe it explain my request better.

http://wow.real94.de/openSER.jpg

Thats what i plan to do. My Problem is that i don't understand how openSER
will work with Asterisk. If the phones register on Asterisk, how does
Asterisk know which client is connected to the other node?

Thanks
Andy

Subject: [OpenSER-Users] OpenSer as Loadbalancer for Asterisk

Hi,

is there a howto out there how to use OpenSer as a Loadbalancer for Asterisk.

It's part of an exercise of an university course. It should be a LAN SIP envirenment only. 1 Asterisk got a fictitious CPU load of 75% by SIP calls and it should be balanced on 2. How does it work? I think the SIP clients has to register at the openSER. Am i right?

What i've found is
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Realtime+Integration+Of+Asterisk+With+OpenSER
http://www.openser.org/dokuwiki/doku.php/asterisk:load-balancing-and-ha
But which one did i need and what else do i have to do?

Thanks
