I rely heavily on NFS mounts inside of containers. so for me this is a blocker.

As you can see, there is a possible duplicate of the bug that you mentioned,
it is https://bugzilla.openvz.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2738 and there is a patch
available as of today.
If you want this bug to be fixed faster and can help, then go ahead and
apply
this patch, recompile the kernel and check if the bug is fixed, then
report your
success (or failure) to bugzilla as a comment to #2738.
The other way to influence bug resolution is to buy OpenVZ support contract
from Parallels, see

It's only $500 for 10 tickets (bugs) within 1 year. Support guys are pretty
responsive and smart.
