forget about it nvme driver in openvz6 is outdated (performance drawback most likely will happen or instability), though it's still possible to boot with nvme, if you patch grub bootloader.
also it's generally recommended to use 3.19+ kernels for nvme, because driver had 1.0 release there. though, if you google a bit you can notice there is some performance degradation in 4.2+ RH kernels for some reason: http://serverfault.com/questions/733926/nvme-speed-degradation-after-kernel-upgrade 2016-06-20 22:34 GMT+03:00 Nick Knutov <m...@knutov.com>: > Hello all, > > will PCI-e NVMe like Intel P3600 and P3608 work with OpenVZ 6 if it is > not boot drive? > > or should I forget about NVMe untill Virtuozzo 7 > > -- > Best Regards, > Nick Knutov > http://knutov.com > ICQ: 272873706 > Voice: +7-904-84-23-130 > > _______________________________________________ > Users mailing list > Users@openvz.org > https://lists.openvz.org/mailman/listinfo/users >
