Hi Volker,

Two open kernel test suites are quite comprehensive and cover significant part 
of OpenVZ kernel functionality

One is LTP, or "Linux Test Project" - https://github.com/linux-test-project/ltp 
- it covers standard Linux kernel functionality.
There is one more test specific to CRIU - details are at 
https://lwn.net/Articles/694593/

These two test suites should give decent coverage

I did some research about kernel testing in the last days. There are some tools 
around that can be used. Without further hints with tools to use, it will be 
very hard to start.
