I've debugged initrd steps, and localized an error in this action: $ mount -r -t ext4 /dev/sda1 /root EXT4-fs (sda1): error loading journal mount: Invalid argument
If I try there same command without readonly option: $ mount -t ext4 /dev/sda1 /root EXT4-fs (sda1): couldn't mount RDWR because of unsupported optional features (400) mount: Invalid argument I see that Debian 9 installer formats Ext4 with two extra features that Debian 8 didn't: 64bit metadata_csum Does anybody know how to "downgrade" Ext4 to remove those 2 features?
