option 1: discuss on libvirt mailing list how to change libvirt config if possible to ignore that flag for cpu model detection.

option 2: not sure if libvirt actually verifies the cpu model you pass. i.e., if qemu reports that cpu model, maybe you can still pass it ignoring the detection logic.
