Hi All,

Finally I was able to pin-point the issue.
Just in case ones needs this.


ovirt by default enables USB 1.0 controller.

To enable USB 2.0 controller go to

At ovirt engine at config file below, change the controller from piix3-uhci
to piix4-uhci as below:

/etc/ovirt-engine/osinfo.conf.d/00-defaults.properties


os.other.devices.usb.controller.value = piix4-uhci


then restart engine:
systemctl restart ovirt-engine


USB device then is attached successfully at Windows VM.
