engine logs are on the engine machine in /var/log/ovirt-engine. Host-side logs are in the host, /var/log/vdsm. ovirt-host-deploy logs (the part that runs on the host during "Add-host") are in the engine, in /var/log/ovirt-engine/host-deploy. If it failed to get them from the host, you might find them on the host in /tmp.
