Thanks a lot. You're right, something is indeed wrong. From your reply, i suddenly realized that maybe some configuration is not right. And finally i find that my colleague added ENGINE_API_DEFAULT_VERSION=3 in the configuration file for his own experiment, but he didn't notify us. Now i delete the configuration item, everything is fine.

I am not sure that I understand the question. A template does have diskattachments under /ovirt-engine/api/templates/<template_id>/diskattachments. Which engine's version are you using?
