Hey Dirk,

Have you tried to passthrough the Host's CPU to the VM ?
I think it was in -> VM-> edit -> Host -> Select to use specific  host -> below 
there is a checkbox  for using Host's CPU -> save.

Also, check libvirt logs in /var/log/libvirt/qemu/<VM> (or somwthing like 
that). Maybe they will hint you what's going on.
