Ensure that the old Engine is powered off. Next, add the storage domains in the 
new HostedEngine and inside the storage engine , there is a "Import VM" tab 
which will allow you to import your VMs.

Usually when you power up a VM , the VM's xml is logged in the vdsm log.
Also , while the VM is running , you can find the xml of the VM in the 
/var/run/libvirt (or whatever libvirt puts it).
