First of all you are not supposed to use distributed volumes for VM storage or you will get into nasty situations during maintenance. Most devs would say that it's fully unsupported , but oVirt is providing only community support ...
Don't mix bricks with volumes. Volumes consist of bricks (which is actually server:/directory) tht are aggregated based on the volume type. In replica volumes , the smallest brick defines the volume size. Also, if someone has put a quota on that gluster volume -> you will see only the quota size and not the whole volume size.
