Hi, I have the pdf file which is disable to copy text by protection, this file can be read without putting password. I selected text from this file, then pasted to the Text Editor, the Text Editor showed nothing, I couldn't paste text. And when using this file by running PDFbox app "ExtractText", I got garbled characters. It was something like ?????. PDFBox 1.6, 1.7, and 1.8 all showed garbled texts as to this pdf.
Does PDFBox support the file that doesn't allow to copy text? Can PDFBox extract text in this case? That text is written by Japanese. Thanks in advance, Shinichiro Abe
