2019-06-10 02:09:14 UTC - Alexey Pikin: hi, we are looking at pulsar, i am
trying to figure out some generic questions:
- is it production ready? i tried to find companies which use pulsar but was
not able to
- i read single pulsar cluster may handle up to million queues (or topics)? are
there any details on scalability limits, some related test reports? Also would
be great to understand performance impact of increasing number of queues
(topics), speed of creating/deleting topic. E.g. how big should be cluster (i
mean hardware requirements) to handle such number of topics for say 1000
messages per sec (most of topics are basically idle and others are loaded)

if it is not the right place to ask please help me to figure right channel

thank you

companies , biggest users being oath and yahoo japan , you don’t need a large
cluster to handle 1000 msg/sec but to support millions of topics the zk
deployment has to be large

each topic is 1 or N znodes?
