manager container?
----
2020-02-15 14:19:25 UTC - Damian Franetovich: i was having some issues with the
db connection and I only can see the error doing an `docker exec -it
<container> bash` and looking in the log file
----
2020-02-15 14:19:37 UTC - Rodrigo Batista: yeah.. but seems to be ok.
----
2020-02-15 14:21:38 UTC - Damian Franetovich: may be if you delete the postgres
datadir and let the manager recreate the schema?
----
2020-02-15 14:23:00 UTC - Damian Franetovich: in your compose I saw this
----
2020-02-15 14:23:07 UTC - Damian Franetovich: ```POSTGRES_USER: "posgres"```
----
2020-02-15 14:28:48 UTC - Rodrigo Batista: I changed the wrong name, I deleted

2020-02-15 15:50:04 UTC - Damian Franetovich: what was it?
----
2020-02-15 15:51:08 UTC - Rodrigo Batista: The problem was that pulsar-manage
connected to postgres, but did not create the tables automatically. So I added
this code to the postgres script.
(<Https://github.com/apache/pulsar-manager/blob/branch-0.1.0/docker/init_db.sql>)
----
2020-02-15 15:51:57 UTC - Rodrigo Batista: and worked like a charm :smiley:

2020-02-15 15:52:38 UTC - Damian Franetovich: great! may be just create the
schema only in their internal db
----
2020-02-15 15:53:26 UTC - Damian Franetovich: in the container pulsar-manager
have a postgre to use if you don’t want to configure an external one
----
2020-02-15 15:53:32 UTC - Rodrigo Batista: yeah..  I found on issue 250
<https://github.com/apache/pulsar-manager/issues/250>
----
2020-02-15 15:56:34 UTC - Damian Franetovich: ```Yes, the current automatic
creation is on the local database. If you use an external database, you need to
manually execute SQL statements. The script
<https://github.com/apache/pulsar-manager/blob/branch-0.1.0/docker/entrypoint.sh>
 is actually executed includes creating users, creating databases, creating
tables, authorizing, etc. However, we assume that the user has already
completed these operations for the external database used by the user.
