If you're a Windows user just itching to get your hands on Qpid 0.8 but
loathing the prospect of configuring and building it, there's an
installer now available at http://www.riverace.com/qpid/downloads.htm

It's a build of the:
- C++ broker (including the SQL and SQL/CLFS stores)
- C++ client API (Qpid and QMF)
- C++-based .NET binding
- WCF API
- C++ API reference documentation
- Boost stuff needed for all this
- Visual Studio 2008 run-time libraries in case you only want to run and
not develop

All the caveats from the 0.6 installer are gone... This one loads the
WCF DLLs into the GAC, fixes up the MS DTC hooks to use transactions
with WCF, installs the VC9 RTLs if needed, etc.

The x86 (32-bit) installer is there... Depending on available time and
resources, an x64 version may be produced later.

Merry Christmas :-)
