I tested RC2 in the follow ways:

* Started Java Broker from binary distraction
* Used Web Management to create virtualhosts/queue/exchanges/bindings
* Used maven artefacts qpid-client and qpid-amqp-1-0-client-jms (from RC2
link on the release page ) to send/receive simple messages using AMQP 0-8
through to 1.0

No issues encountered.
