Yes, sorry. By qpid_messaging I mean the swigged wrapper around qpid-cpp, and by qpid.messaging I mean the pure python implementation.
Are we talking about only qpid-cpp here or are is the build type of proton also relevant?
Well, qpid-cpp has a dependency on proton (the c only, not the python wrapper of proton) for 1.0 support, but that isn't really relevant to the issue with the tools and which python library is used.
