Hi, Rakhi.  Yes, I do think using those steps is a good way to fill in the
project timeline.  I don't think you have to be *very* detailed - some of
the items seem like they could be pinned to a week timeframe (such as
"write a simple implementation plan and review it with your mentor") and
others are less defined and contained ("introduce tracing spans and
attributes for messaging operations").  I suggest using your level of
confidence for any given item to determine how tightly you define the
dates.  If you are not confident, I'd use a bigger date range.

You should also feel free to add or drill down on those items in the
internship task list.

Regarding the "additional questions", I don't have any right now.  I'll
check out your application when it's ready.
