Trouble with golang electron package

Hello,

I'm trying to experiment with the Electron package for Golang to
potentially migrate my messaging app away from C++.

I'm currently working in Rocky Linux with 1.17.  Creating a simple program
fails with the following error message:

../../go/pkg/mod/

could not determine kind of name for C.pn_tostring
