Hello Cliff, Attached you can find the reproducer I use. It is just a slightly modified helloworld example.
After a fresh reboot it took 147 iterations to reproduce. Second attempt took 22. On my system an iteration takes a little below a second to execute. To be exact, I am typing this from an Ubuntu 22.04 VM running on HyperV. I also left it running without the firewall rule (so just SYN, RST) and it successfully did over 200k iterations. From that I deduct that some timing issue must be involved. I am aware that reconnect attempts should normally be done inside the container. Reproducer sample is intentionally made as simple as possible. Moving the reconnect attempts into proactor_container_impl just adds additional complexity, but the issue for me remains. Thank you, BR.
